BAC1491-70 is a formed corrugated sheet, sometimes called a wiggle plate and is available in sheet specifications available in 2024-T3 clad. This item is used primarily in maintenance and repair for Boeing aircraft and is readily available from stock for AOG situations.

2024-T3 Clad aluminum sheet is commonly used in applications requiring high strength to weight ratio, as well as good fatigue resistance, such as structural applications in aircraft and motor sports. It is an aluminum alloy using copper added as the primary alloying element.

BAC1491-70 is weldable only through friction welding and has average machinability. 2024 is widely used in wing and fuselage structures under tension.
